8 Blasts in Bangalore
BANGALORE: According to early reports, at least one woman has been killed and 15 people injured in a series of blasts in Bangalore. Six blasts have been reported so far. According to Bangalore Police commissioner, Shanker Bidri, six blasts rocked Bangalore. The police have confirmed that low intensity crude bombs were triggered by a timer. The blasts took place at the Madivala bus stop, Hossur road, Adugudi, Koramangla, Mysore Road and Nayadahalli. The blasts happened within a span of 12 minutes. Bomb disposal squads have reached the blasts sites. Schools, colleges, cinema halls and commercial complexes have been shut down. Police Commissioner Shankar Bidri appealed for calm and said people should go about their normal activities. More details are awaited.
